So my boyfriend is the most amazing boyfriend in the world and I am so glad he appreciates video gaming as much as I do because seriously, there is so much understanding between us both when we end up flailing about upcoming game releases. (Granted, he's more into FPS war games like Call of Duty - he's just bought that new Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and he's like, not shut up about it since - while I'm more of a storyline RPG sort of gamer, but we can overlook that.)
That being said:
He only went and bought me Final Fantasy XIII four days before its official release date. (I think, in part, it may have been to shut me up. I kind of squealed/flailed every time I saw the advert for it on the sides of buses.)
Yeah, yeah. Naughty boy, I know - but he knows the lads at one of the independent game shops so they sold him it early. Their shop - they can do what they want.
I've racked up about eight hours of gameplay already (it would be more if Bradley didn't come round and I hadn't fallen ill) so I thought I'd do a little...collection-of-thoughts sort of post on it. Coherence cannot be promised, but uh, I'll try my hardest lol.

▋ Basically, it's ace and you should buy it and you should waste your life on it.
So yeah, he's in the good books for a while. :)
Is there anything else? Uhh, January exam results are out tomorrow...I may end up waiting until Monday for them, depending on whether I go into school tomorrow. I don't know. I'm expecting a couple of crap grades - psychology didn't go so well (an hour and a half is not enough time to write three essays :|) and everyone moaned about how hard core 3 maths was, so I'm thinking maybe the fact that I found it easy is a bad sign, haha.

Wow, I think it's been like, a month since I updated? Uhh, let's see...what's happened since I disappeared...
▋ It was my 18th on Feb 08. That turned out pretty awesome. The birthday itself was just a bit of a lazy day, I guess; went to school (wearing a big ass badge saying 18: Official Drinks Taster, my mother knows me so well ♥), came home and hung out with family + boyfriend. Saturday night was awesome though! So much fun. Best thing was, I didn't pay for a single drink. Hello, drunken times. ♥Uh, I don't think much more has been going off? Basically, it's just been going to the pub all the time. :')
▋ What presents did I get? I can't even remember. Uhhh. Brad bought me Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (lmao, what an awesome boyfriend). Mum bought me a silver T-bar bracelet. Annie bought me Need for Speed on the PS3 lmao she's ace. Uhhhhh. Other than that it was mostly just chocolate and bath stuff?And wine. Oh, Tom and David bought me hair die! LMFAO. And Sam bought me two decks of cards, two packs of six shot glasses, and a big ass bottle of 40% Polish vodka, a very clever allusion to the Hitler drinking game we played at his party. :') That was my favourite present, hahaha.
▋ I still have all the alcohol I was given as presents left, except the bottle of Smirnoff vodka is half empty. I don't know how I'm going to manage it all. I don't drink wine that much anyway and playing Hitler at Sam's put me off drinking vodka neat for life. :') So. I don't know. I just discovered Skittles Vodka though so I'm thinking I'm going to make some of that for Sam's next party (March 13). Which I've booked the weekend off work for. FUCK YEAH.
▋ Ever since I turned 18, I don't think there's been a week where I haven't gone out drinking? I'm sure in 30 years time, when my liver packs up and moves out, I'll regret it, but right now, I'm having too much fun. ♥
▋ I still need to get ID.
▋ Today is mine and Bradley's one-month-anniversary. :) Here's to many more.

▋ I've finally heard back from all of my university choices. The University of York took four months to get back to me, just to reject me. Well fuck you. I didn't like the university anyway. So now I just need to decide on my insurance choice. Leeds is my firm, who want AAB or BBB with the Access to Leeds module. Sheffield and Nottingham both want AAB as well, but Hull wants BBC, so it might be better to put Hull down as my insurance?

3 years ago, I served Thanksgiving lunch to the less fortunate. Since it was during duty hours, I was still in my Air Force uniform. After the meal, I was pushing a little girl on a swing. When it was time to leave, she said "Thanks for pushing me on the swing. And for saving the world."
